Getting to know Victoria Catlin-Walton

My name is Victoria Catlin-Walton, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in Santa Clarita, California, working with people statewide via telehealth. I hold a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles. I work with individuals ranging from young adults to seasoned professionals, specializing in anxiety, stress, life transitions, and relationship matters. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy to help people experience something that feels better. My approach My approach to therapy is primarily focused on the needs of each person. Most often, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy so we can get to know each other on a broader level and take meaningful strides toward where you want to be. My focus My style works well with young adults and seasoned adults experiencing life transitions and the stresses that may come with these changes. I work together with people to support them where they are, encouraging them to build the resources they need to move forward into the life they want. My communication style Depending on the person, I respond in kind. I match myself to what is occurring between us, remaining calm and carefully listening. And if someone shares a good joke, I may laugh hard. My journey to therapy I chose my career as a therapist because I grew up witnessing my parents' kindness toward others. Throughout my journey into adulthood, I worked with many people from diverse backgrounds with deeply personal stories. These experiences fueled my desire to help people just like them. My goals for you From the very beginning of our relationship, my goal is to learn what you want to accomplish during our time together. My hope is for you to feel truly listened to and to have a connection with me that lets you know I am genuinely here for you.
