Psychotherapist

I love seeing people reach their full potential. As I partner with you in your mental health journey, I look forward to supporting you as you climb to new heights toward a better version of yourself. I hold two Master's degrees in Counseling: Marriage & Family Therapy and Licensed Professional Counseling. Additionally, I earned a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southwestern Assemblies of God University. I have over 16 years of experience working in outpatient counseling settings and in my private practice, Catalyst Therapy. I've had the privilege of working with various populations facing different mental health challenges, including Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Bipolar Disorder, and PTSD. The treatment modalities I use include DBT, CBT, trauma-informed therapy, and Christian prayers of inner healing using Bible scriptures. My services include family therapy, individual therapy, and group therapy. During the initial visit, I will assist you in determining which services would be most beneficial and the appropriate level of care. As a Non-denominational Christian Minister, I have worked with various churches providing marriage counseling, leading teen and women's mentoring groups, and offering individual counseling using an inner healing technique called SOZO, which means Saved, Healed, and Delivered. Other tools I use include the Prepare/Enrich Program, Gottman Institute couples communication methods, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Boundaries by Townsend and Cloud. I pray that as you begin your emotional, physical, and spiritual journey to wholeness, you find peace, joy, and a new life purpose and focus.

What should a new client know about working with you?

New refreshing perspective on the situation and outlook on life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
