I take an eclectic approach and especially love using CBT strategies to help recognize thought patterns and change old negative beliefs. Including whatever creative interest you have in therapy can be extremely rewarding and insightful. If you are not creative, it's okay! Talk therapy is powerful, and practicing what is learned is important as well. Other modalities I use include Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy. I have a very holistic approach. My goal is to create a safe place and build rapport with you in the therapeutic relationship so we can move forward together and do this very important work. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Boston University, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to support you effectively on your healing journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

The first session is essentially going over your information and getting a sense of what it is you would like to work on. Subsequent sessions dive deeper into your issues and your goals in therapy. If you have never been in therapy before, it may feel odd to speak to someone about painful issues. That is understandable! We will work together to unravel issues in a safe way. I also have a good sense of humor and we will undoubtedly find something to laugh about!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
