Wayne A. Alston, MSW, LCSW, MST Therapist, is a practicing clinician in Charlotte, North Carolina with LifeStance. Wayne earned his Bachelor's degree from Shaw University in 2011 and his Master's in Social Work from East Carolina University in 2012. He has an extensive background providing Community Support Teams, Out-Patient Therapy, Intensive In-Home Services, School-Based Therapy, and Day Treatment Therapy. Currently, Wayne is a Multisystem Therapist, offering services to adolescents and their families who exhibit antisocial behaviors. He has served as President of the Eastern North Carolina Association of Black Social Workers and as Undergraduate Representative to the National Social Workers of North Carolina. Wayne has received several social work awards, including the Sustained Excellence Award from MST Services as a top 1% therapist providing MST therapy worldwide in 2015, 2018, 2019, and 2020. He is dedicated to helping individuals achieve, maintain, and accomplish their goals.

Wayne helped me get a lot of pressure off my heart and brain. He worked with me and help me feel better about my self . Going to a therapist was the right thing to do to get through my grief and many other things. If I ever need to talk to someone I know I can contact Wayne. He was such a blessing and just what I needed.
