It is my belief that counseling is not just for the “sick” or “broken” but also for the courageous individuals who are committed to taking the necessary steps to improve their lives mentally, physically, and spiritually. I’m happy to assist and provide guidance on how to navigate through the mental barriers that restrict you from achieving balance and wellness in your life. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s in Social Work from San Diego State University, I have 20 years of experience working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, PTSD, and addiction/recovery issues. My area of expertise is supporting individuals throughout the stages of life that may cause feelings of imbalance, chaos, and vulnerability. I utilize treatment modalities such as Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have a holistic approach to working with clients and cater to each individual’s unique needs. I provide a therapeutic environment that is safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental so people can express themselves and navigate through internal conflict and daily problems. I integrate these tools in order to meet your particular needs and to achieve wellness and balance in your life.
