Getting to know Wesley Villano
I’m dedicated to creating a therapeutic space where clients feel safe, supported, and free from judgment. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and other emotional challenges, tailoring my approach to each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I take a person-centered, trauma-informed approach to therapy, drawing from evidence-based practices including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based interventions. I believe meaningful change happens through a collaborative therapeutic relationship, where clients can deepen self-understanding, build practical coping skills, and gain confidence in navigating life’s challenges.
My longstanding interest in mindfulness and philosophy continues to shape my perspective on resilience, personal growth, and living in alignment with one’s values. I’m passionate about helping clients create meaningful, lasting change while building lives that feel authentic and fulfilling.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
When you are ready to get started, schedule an initial assessment visit (intake) through Zocdoc. After you book an appointment, a care coordinator will reach out to review your method of payment and/or insurance number and answer any initial questions you may have before our first visit.
