“I enjoy my sessions with Whitney because she is patient in the way I think; always reminding me about how I should apply concepts learned. I struggle a lot with opening up and get nervous when talking about sensitive things, but she always approaches in a non judgmental way and I feel very understood.”

Getting to know Whitney Brown

I have experience treating individuals and couples with depression, anxiety, attachment, and trauma. I have worked extensively with teens, young adults, and adults, and I believe my relationship with my clients is a partnership focused on achieving their goals. I strive to assist clients in identifying and building upon their strengths while growing through their challenges. As an eclectic therapist, I utilize a variety of treatment models to address the whole person. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Savannah State University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate and effective care. Are you ready for a change? Are you ready to grow through and beyond what is currently holding you back from being the best version of yourself? I would be honored to walk with you on that journey and help you reach your goals in a safe, nonjudgmental space.

What should a new client know about working with you?

After the first session we will be working on goal setting and making sure that the reason you have come to therapy are not only heard, but put into action steps in order to help you reach whatever goals you would like to set. I will help guide you in setting and taking steps in achieving those goals.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
