Getting to know Willard Sheets

Hello. My name is Will Sheets. I am a counselor and therapist and have been in practice for approximately 25 years. I am married to my wife, Sharon, and we have been married for the past 15 years. We have two sons and five grandchildren, three boys and two girls. We like to take long weekend trips within about a 200 mile radius of our home, and we enjoy fishing and hiking small trails. Nice to meet you in this format.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to care is relaxed and unhurried. I have found that there is no real rush to the finish line, so to speak. Life is a series of events that can be either accepted as positive in the long run, or rejected as a burden to be rushed through in a seemingly negative manner. I opt for the positive and unhurried approach. It has made the difference in my practice and my life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, you can expect a conversation about your life and how you are living it at the present time, and if, and how, you would like to proceed in your effort to make any changes in your approach to it. You will take the lead on any type of change that you may want. My approach is to help you clarify what those changes might be.
