Getting to know William Hamilton

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing services statewide via telehealth. I have over 12 years of experience working with individuals, couples, adolescents, and families, and have worked extensively with the LGBTQIA+ community. I welcome clients of all sexual orientations and gender identities. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Northridge. My approach Are you seeking to explore your identity, improve your mental health, wellbeing, and relationships, or simply seeking support and guidance? Without the ability to talk honestly and compassionately about vulnerable aspects of our lives, we often feel limited and unsatisfied. By engaging in therapy, I will help you identify your inner strengths and develop skills to overcome negative thought patterns, behaviors, and difficult emotions. I integrate evidence-based techniques flexibly and responsively to your needs. My focus Life can be challenging, and sometimes we face situations that leave us feeling depressed, anxious, isolated, or overwhelmed—feelings that make it hard to navigate daily life or engage in meaningful relationships. As a therapist, my goal is to help you navigate these challenges and identify what you want and what’s holding you back. My communication style I provide a safe, affirming space for you to develop self-understanding—a space where you can express yourself freely without fear of judgment. My approach is grounded in compassion and curiosity for your thoughts and feelings. My journey to therapy I have long been drawn to helping others, which led me to become a therapist. Having experienced difficult times myself, I know what it’s like to feel anxious, overwhelmed, and alone with no one to talk to. Therapy gave me a path toward healing and hope.
