I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 30+ years of experience. I have worked in many different settings in order to develop my skills. I spent 8 years as a Family Therapist in a local agency, then moved to doing groups for anger management with parents whose children were in foster care. I spent a year working with incarcerated women and 4 years working with older adults. I continually study psychology, philosophy, religion, and history, and have the ability to identify and empathize with a variety of clients. I work with clients who are facing challenging changes in their lives. I provide the support clients need to make changes to their lives. I specialize in emotional regulation, such as anger management, and helping clients feel safe. I like to use a person-centered method that addresses the meaning of life.
