I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience in behavioral health, with a concentrated focus on mental health and substance abuse. My extensive experience dealing with and treating substance abuse has placed me at the frontlines of mental health care. Before coming to Grow Therapy, I held clinical leadership positions, including Clinical Supervisor, and I am currently a Clinical Director providing clinical supervision to behavioral health practitioners. I am also a highly sought-after mental health consultant and advisor.
I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Central Missouri. I am licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in Virginia, Maryland, and Missouri, and I have completed numerous certificates and training related to mental health.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Yashica is exactly the practitioner I was looking for. I needed someone who could help me navigate what I'm currently experiencing in life. I appreciate that she is ready to guide me and provide useful tools. I can envision us working well together.
