Over the years, she has worked in the community as a Mental Health Therapist and also served in the Army Reserve. Yeni holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Art with a focus on labor studies from Dominguez Hills University. She also earned a master’s degree in Counseling, specializing in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy, from the University of Phoenix. She is the founder and CEO of Yen Wellness Family Counseling Professional Corporation. In addition, Yeni has served on various boards, including Mujeres Activas en el Comercio Hispano (MACH), FUSALMO USA, and the National Latina Business Women Association (NLBWA-LA). Yeni is also an author of the book I Am Marleni: Healing Your Inner Child, which is available in both English and Spanish.
