“First session. So far so good. I appreciate that their office just rescheduled me when they had a conflict between the zocdoc availability and theirs. Instead of just cancelling and leaving me to search some more. Their team is proactive and responsive. Provider seems to have an inviting presence (even on telehealth) and often repeated to see if what she heard was what I said/was trying to convey. Looking forward to the next session.”

Getting to know Yetunde Bamisile

*ONLY ACCEPTING SELF-PAY PATIENTS. WE ARE OON WITH ALL INSURANCES.* Ms. Bamisile, a proud New York City native, is a compassionate and dedicated professional focused on serving the unique needs of Black and Brown women dealing with the intersecting impact of hormones and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) on physical and mental health. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work, both from Yeshiva University. While working with individuals and families, she noticed how much physical and mental health impact one another. Passionate about contributing to the overall wellness of individuals and families, she has specialized in addressing the unique challenges faced by Black or African American women struggling with hormonal issues. Often, these women feel unseen and unheard when they visit providers. Her expertise lies in guiding individuals through understanding how their hormones intersect with their mental health and in helping them learn skills in emotional regulation and self-advocacy. Ms. Bamisile believes in the importance of self-care; therefore, she prioritizes spending time with her family and friends in her free time. She also enjoys taking walks and listening to music. This allows her to bring her best self to her work with her clients.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I specialize in working with Black and African American teens and young women, especially those who are experiencing hormonal issues, PCOS, infertility, anxiety and/or depression.
