I credit my professional philosophy and motivation for choosing to work in the mental health sector to my community in La Puente, CA. This was shaped by adverse life events, such as witnessing drug use, gang violence, and my relationships with community members struggling with mental health illnesses. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Dominguez Hills, which has equipped me with the skills to support my practice. My professional aim is to assist minorities in overcoming cultural and systemic barriers that contribute to mental health challenges through insight-driven therapy.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My clients can expect a reliable therapist who believes we as people can change our environment/circumstances through effective action and insight-oriented interventions. Accountability is a major component of therapy and in order to see change we must be able to recognize our circumstances and accept what we can change and what we cannot.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
