My approach To begin with, I’ll assess your strengths, current skills, and the goals you have in mind. From there, I’ll tailor the support I offer based on those goals and your needs. Some of the modalities I frequently use include EMDR, CBT, NVC, Ego States, and ATSIP, among others. There isn’t one style or type of therapy that works for every client. Once you have the skills, I’ll encourage you to practice them in your life and help you adjust as needed. My focus My ideal clients are tired of feeling stuck and want to empower themselves. I focus on working with individuals and couples who are seeking deeper connections with themselves and those around them. Sometimes that means helping individuals reconnect with their values and needs first, so they can show up more authentically in their relationships. Other times, it’s about guiding partners through conflict and disconnection, so they can rediscover joy and intimacy together. My journey to mental healthcare My journey to becoming a therapist was shaped by a decade of military service, where I learned from incredible leaders and found purpose in serving others. I pursued my passion for studying psychology while still in uniform, taking every chance to learn and grow. After researching graduate programs, Counseling felt like the perfect fit, offering a direct and meaningful way to support people in their most important work: healing and growth. These transitions inform my work today; they taught me the value of service, the power of listening, and the courage to step into change.
