About Dr. Aaron Kolar
Dr. Kolar was born and raised a Central Texan. After completing his undergraduate education at Texas State University, he felt a calling for the medical field leading him to enroll as a pre-med student at Baylor University.
Dr. Kolar continued his journey by moving to Tennessee to attend medical school at Lincoln Memorial University Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine.
He then returned to his home state to complete his internal medicine residency at Medical City Weatherford. Throughout his education, Dr. Kolar served on the Honors and Ethics Committee, as well as, Junior Chief Resident from 2021-2022. Dr. Kolar is passionate about preserving the health of individuals and his community by practicing preventative medicine. He has been awarded by his residency for advocating for the needs of both his patients and those who work in collaboration with him. Not only does he consider it an honor and a privilege to provide quality care, but he takes joy in spending time with his patients to provide education on the importance of taking preventive measures for their health.
Dr. Kolar is excited to return to Central Texas to serve in the community he has always called home.
When he is not providing care to his patients, he can be found on fun adventures with his wonderful wife and daughter. Dr. Kolar is a coffee enthusiast, loves a spontaneous road trip, and is often engaged in something from his reading list. He finds joy in being surrounded by his friends and family, and is always ready to go to a baseball game.

This is an excellent medical office. The doctor listens and communicates very well. They are all very nice and helpful. I'm very happy I found them.

The clinic is clean and the staff are friendly. I had to fill out a paper copy of a form I had already filled out online, which was mildly annoying.
After being taken back to the exam room and completing basic vitals with a nurse, it was probably another 10 minutes before Dr. Kolar came in. My visit was for an annual physical. Dr. Kolar asked a few questions, listened to my lungs and heart, felt along my shins (?), and then sent me down the hall for a blood draw. I spent maybe 3 minutes with the doc. This was the least comprehensive physical I think I’ve ever had. I’m a relatively healthy young person, but I would still expect a physician to do more for an annual physical. Previous providers have checked my reflexes, looked in my ears and throat, etc (you know— the stereotypical stuff you expect as the bare minimum for a doctor visit). I’m not sure if Dr. Kolar was running behind that day, or maybe he just forgot a few things, but it didn’t instill a ton of confidence.

One of the best experiences I have had with a doctor. He listened to all of my concerns and provided me with a game plan for my health. The staff was amazing and treated me with respect and care.
I recommend this doctor.

I just simply didn’t feel heard. There were multiple times where we could have communicated to understand the issue by just asking simple questions but it seemed he already had a conclusion in his head. It was really uncomfortable to talk to him and felt like he wanted the appointment to just be over. I still am left not knowing why I’m experiencing what I am, and feeling like I can’t trust a doctor to help me.
With that said, the office was very tidy and clean, and the staff was extremely friendly and inviting. The only issue is the doctor ruined the experience for me and left me with more questions than I had previously.

There is no way I will ever go anywhere else. Dr. Kolar listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions. The respect shown was so great.

From start to finish my appointment and booking was smooth. I was seen by Dr. Kolar himself, he was very caring, thoughtful in his responses, and I didn’t feel rushed or judged for my concerns. He let me be an active participant in the approach to what is needed to help me. He also seemed very motivated and willing to explore many options to ensure that I see a change in the issues I’m having. I would recommend this office to everyone! The staff and office itself was also spectacular. Great patient centric care.

I am a very busy person, but at the same time I am very ill. The staff and Doctor was compassionate and caring. I finally have all my medical records together and need to be seen, but I had to move from San Antonio to Waco to take care of my terminally ill sister. I am so grateful for Zoc Doc and their rating system. I am able to continue care for myself, so I may be with my sister at the same time. The Doctor is very detailed and helped me get out of the door with exactly what I needed until ally records and testing can be completed. I can finally take a sigh of relief. I can actually manage self care and take care of others.
