About Dr. Emily Devine

Dr. Emily Devine was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She attended Baylor University for her undergraduate studies, earning a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors in Biology and a Minor in Nutrition. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of North Texas Health Science Center–Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, as well as a Master of Public Health from the same institution. Dr. Devine completed her residency in Internal Medicine with the HCA Medical City Arlington Consortium, where she served as Junior Chief Resident from 2023 to 2024 and Chief Resident from 2024 until her graduation in June 2025. She first met the Be Well family during her residency training at the Alliance and Denton clinic locations and is very excited to now join the team as a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician. Dr. Devine strives to partner with her patients, believing that trust and shared decision-making are key to a successful doctor–patient relationship. She encourages small, sustainable lifestyle changes and focuses on building personal progress toward lifelong healthy habits. She is also passionate about addressing the healthcare needs of older adults and emphasizes the importance of advance care planning. In her free time, Dr. Devine enjoys spending time with her two children, Rose and Jameson. She also loves crocheting, drawing, and practicing yoga
