Dr. Mostafa Alwakeel is proud to bring his extensive expertise and passion for patient care to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department. With a solid foundation in general dentistry and advanced training in oral surgery, he is committed to providing comprehensive, cutting-edge surgical solutions for patients of all ages.
Dr. Alwakeel combines technical precision with an artistic touch to create smiles that are both functional and beautiful, ensuring each patient’s experience is positive and transformative. Known for his compassionate bedside manner, he strives to make every patient feel valued and at ease. He believes in fostering a collaborative treatment environment, working closely with patients to ensure their concerns are addressed and their goals are met.
Dr. Alwakeel’s expertise allows him to offer a wide array of services, including surgical dental implants, full-arch implant surgery, wisdom teeth removal, cosmetic periodontal and gum surgery, bone grafting, sinus lifts, and biopsies. He is affiliated with University Hospital in Newark, a level-one trauma center, where he treats facial trauma and oral surgery emergencies. He is also affiliated with Saint Peter’s University Hospital, where he performs elective oral surgery procedures.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Alwakeel serves as an assistant professor in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where he plays a vital role in mentoring future dental professionals. As a teaching faculty member, he takes great pride in mentoring residents and dental students, sharing his extensive knowledge and experience in oral surgery and dental implants.
