Getting to know Adlin de Cardi

My name is Adlin (Addie) de Cardi, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in Virginia. I earned my Master's in Counseling Psychology from National University and my Bachelor's degree from San Diego State University. I was first licensed as an MFT in California and have worked with clients individually, in groups, and in family therapy. My work with adults has focused on survivors of abuse and other traumas, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and relationship issues. My counseling style is one of empathy and compassion for those struggling with challenges that interfere with their efforts to be the best version of themselves. I also use mindfulness techniques, CBT, and a client-centered approach. My hope is that we can form a therapeutic relationship that fosters personal growth, leading to a sense of well-being and confidence. I look forward to working with you!
