Getting to know Aimee Ismerio
Hello, I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in helping first-generation Latinas heal from trauma, manage anxiety, and break free from patterns of people-pleasing, perfectionism, and self-doubt.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally affirming. I integrate EMDR and person-centered therapy to help clients process difficult experiences, build healthier boundaries, and reconnect with their authentic selves. Therapy is a space where you don’t have to carry everything alone.
*I've chosen to center my practice on the healing needs of women and the LGBTQIA+ community. I do not currently work with cisgender men, minors, or court-involved clients in order to preserve alignment with my clinical roots*

I offer space for those who want to feel safe, seen, and heard so that you can be your authentic self. My goal is to collaborate together to figure out what works for you on your healing journey.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
