Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in patterns you can’t seem to move past? I help teens and adults work through anxiety, trauma, and emotional overwhelm in a steady, supportive way. Together, we focus on helping you feel calmer, more grounded, and more connected to yourself. My approach My approach is calm, collaborative, and paced around what feels safe for you. I primarily use EMDR along with mindfulness and CBT-informed tools to help you work through anxiety, trauma, and patterns that feel hard to move past. Together, we focus on building insight, coping skills, and lasting change. My focus I work best with teens and adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or past experiences that still affect their daily life. Many struggle with overthinking, self-doubt, or feeling stuck. Together, we focus on building calm, confidence, and meaningful change at a pace that feels supportive. My communication style My communication style is calm, supportive, and collaborative. I listen closely and reflect back what I’m hearing so you feel understood. I offer gentle feedback and guidance while respecting your pace, especially when we’re working through something difficult or overwhelming. My journey to mental healthcare I was originally drawn to therapy to support children, and along the way, worked with adults with severe mental illness and youth in shelters and schools. These experiences shaped my trauma-informed approach. In private practice, I now support teens and adults healing from trauma, including through EMDR. My goals for you I see therapy as a partnership. Together, we’ll identify goals that matter most to you and break them into manageable steps. As you grow and gain insight, goals can shift. I support progress by pacing the work thoughtfully and checking in regularly on what’s helping. My first session with you Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what’s bringing you to therapy.
