Alexandra Schnack, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
My mission is to help people navigate through difficult times in their lives. I value providing a supportive place for my clients to discuss problems that can feel overwhelming and difficult to manage. Sometimes life transitions, past experiences, relationships, jobs, and unexpected life events can cause feelings of being overwhelmed, anxious, sad, fearful, hopeless, guilty, ashamed, and disconnected from others. I take time to get to know each of my clients, and together we identify your personal goals. I can assist you in processing your thoughts and feelings, teach healthy ways of coping and communicating, provide honest feedback, challenge beliefs that prevent growth, and offer support and encouragement along the way! It is my belief that all people have the strength and ability to heal themselves, and my job is to support my clients in finding their path to healing and happiness. I earned my Master’s in Counseling from California State University, Fullerton, which has equipped me with a strong foundation to support diverse client needs. Over the years, I have gained experience working with people facing a wide variety of life challenges. I have seen my clients grow more confident, develop strong communication and boundary-setting skills, achieve their short-term and long-term goals, improve their relationships with themselves and others, and learn new skills to care for and manage their own emotional, mental, and physical needs. Like many therapists, I have my unique therapy style. I offer a more casual and personable atmosphere, prioritizing authenticity and transparency to promote trust in the therapeutic relationship. I utilize multiple techniques and counseling concepts to meet each client’s needs.
