Psychotherapist
NC
I'm so glad you're here. I'm a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia. I'm dedicated to helping clients manage life’s challenges, gain a stronger sense of self through self-awareness and mindfulness, strengthen their ability to regulate emotions, set and maintain healthy boundaries, and identify and break unhealthy patterns of behavior. At Branch Therapeutic Solutions, I offer a compassionate, supportive space where you can feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow. My approach I believe that therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. Each person is unique, and so are the challenges they face—that’s why I use a mix of different therapeutic approaches to best support your needs. Depending on what you’re working through, I may draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand and shift unhelpful thinking patterns, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) to challenge negative beliefs, or Motivational Interviewing to support your personal goals and readiness for change. I also incorporate tools from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help build emotional regulation skills and mindfulness practices to help you stay grounded and present. My work is always rooted in a trauma-informed perspective, meaning I prioritize your safety, comfort, and empowerment throughout the process. At times, we might take a Solution-Focused approach to help you identify strengths and move toward the changes you want to see. My goal is to meet you where you are and walk with you as you move toward greater clarity, healing, and balance. My focus You’re tired of pretending everything’s fine when deep down, you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or just plain exhausted. Maybe anxiety keeps your mind racing at night, or depression makes it hard to get out of bed. Some days, you’re riding an emotional rollercoaster you didn’t ask to be on—and you’re not sure how much longer you can hold it all together.
