Alyssa Basulto, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
I provide a safe, supportive space for individuals and families to explore life’s challenges, heal from trauma, and build on their strengths. My passion is helping people feel seen, empowered, and confident in their ability to grow. My approach I strive to create a space where you are free from judgment, a place where you put down the persona we present out in the world, where your true self can be seen and heard. I believe there is not a one-size-fits-all approach, and you are the expert in your life. Therefore, we will design your treatment as a team that is uniquely tailored to your strengths, needs, and goals. My focus I have worked in diverse settings out in the community as well as within school settings, working with BIPOC, low socioeconomic, and first-generation clients and their families. Whether you have experienced complex emotions, life transitions, traumas, stressors, or any challenges the world throws at us unexpectedly. I am here to support you on your journey. My communication style My communication style is warm, compassionate, and grounded in empathy, helping clients feel safe, seen, and validated in their experiences. I approach therapy as a collaborative partnership, empowering clients to take an active role in their healing while honoring their voice and wisdom. Rooted in a strength-based perspective, I focus on resilience and growth while also addressing challenges with honesty and care. I strive to communicate clearly and gently, offering structure and transparency without being clinical or overwhelming. Above all, I aim to create an inclusive, culturally sensitive space that respects and reflects the diverse identities and lived experiences of each person I work with. My journey to mental healthcare I became a provider because I’ve always felt called to create space for others to feel seen, heard, and supported—especially those who’ve felt overlooked or unheard.
