My approach In my work with teens and young adults, I use a blend of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and mindfulness to help you better understand and manage anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, and those overwhelming negative thoughts. CBT helps us look at unhelpful thinking patterns and shift them into something more realistic and supportive. With ACT, we focus less on "fixing" thoughts and more on accepting what shows up—and then choosing actions that align with your values and goals. Mindfulness ties it all together by teaching you how to slow down, stay present, and respond to life with more calm and clarity. These tools are all about helping you feel more in control, more confident, and more connected to who you are and what matters to you. My focus Have you been struggling with feeling connected in relationships? Bogged down by negative thinking patterns about yourself or the world around you? My practice's aim is to help you rebuild your sense of self and purpose, aligning with what matters most to you and uncovering practical everyday tools to reframe negative thinking and feel more connected to others and the world around you. I will work with you to gain mindfulness skills, holistic health awareness, psychoeducation on mental health and stress, and connect to yourself and your "why.
