Hi there, I'm Andrea! I am the founder and owner of the Foundational Center for Counseling and Consultation, LLC. I obtained my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through a dual Master’s degree program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling at the University of Northern Colorado in 2021. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). (She/her). My approach I am passionate about utilizing integrated techniques that best suit my clients, as we are all unique. I utilize person-centered therapy and other modalities, including trauma-informed, psychodynamic, attachment, strength-based, CBT, DBT, and MI. My focus I specialize in working with adults who have challenges with depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, negative body image, parenting issues, emotional regulation, substance abuse, grief/loss, and life transitions. My communication style My professional focus is to be empathetic, energetic, empowering, eclectic, and able to hold space for others through the complexities of life. My journey to mental healthcare I became a therapist because I want to help people through their personal challenges, ease emotional burdens, and empower them to create a life worth living. My goals for you Together, we will work in a therapeutic alliance to explore and process your past traumas, life stressors, and triggers. Throughout the healing process, you will be supported in grieving your past and the pain you endured for the expansion to create a life worth living. My first session with you During the first therapy session, we discuss your personal history, current life stressors, personal challenges, and create treatment goals you would like to work on together.
