“Ann Marie has a compassionate and likable quality as a therapist. She did not make me feel rushed or judged in my first appointment and understood that I was not seeking a weekly appointment (something my other providers in the past seemed to emphasize). I’m thankful and highly recommend her.”

Getting to know AnnMarie Rotan

My name is AnnMarie Rotan, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in three states, working with clients via telehealth. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Loma Linda University. I work with adults in all phases of life, from college through retirement, helping them identify and manage barriers that keep them from achieving their best quality of life. My approach My therapeutic approach is holistic and tailored to the unique needs of each individual, which can evolve as we progress together. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy due to its versatility but am comfortable incorporating other approaches as needed. My focus My style and approach are a good fit for people seeking a partner on their journey through life transitions, health challenges, or grief and loss. It is common to experience anxiety, depression, stress, and self-doubt at different points in life, but together we can navigate these challenges and build skills to enhance your life. My communication style My communication style is calm, honest, supportive, and personable. Clients can feel comfortable sharing anything with me, knowing they will be heard and never judged. My journey to therapy I decided to become a therapist because I have always been a "people person." This natural inclination led me to the helping professions. Being able to connect someone to needed resources or support them in times of great sorrow is a gift. I worked in the medical field doing crisis intervention and community resources for many years before the opportunity arose to share my passion through teaching college classes. This experience brought me back to my clinical therapist roots, helping people find the best versions of themselves. My goals for you My approach to goal setting is always focused on my clients’ identified needs and concerns.
