My name is Araceli Vigil, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Stanislaus, and a Bachelor’s degree from Fresno State. I also hold a Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Social Work. I work with individuals struggling to cope with life’s unpredictable stressors that can interfere with daily life. I believe healing and growth can be reached in many ways, including through the support of a therapist. My focus areas include depression, anxiety, adjustment to life’s changes and stressors, and trauma-focused services. My approach I work collaboratively in a transparent and encouraging way, creating a safe environment where individuals feel comfortable being vulnerable and working toward emotional well-being. I often utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Processing Therapy (TF-CPT). My focus I primarily work with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, adjustment to life’s changes and stressors, and trauma-focused concerns. My communication style I provide a safe and supportive space, communicating with transparency. My goal is to be a collaborative partner in each person’s journey to gain insight, awareness, and tools to improve emotional well-being and quality of life. My journey to mental healthcare I have always been intrigued by people’s thoughts and how life stressors impact them, which led me to psychology. The “ah-ha” moments—those sudden insights—are a powerful part of therapy that inspire me to support people on their path to healing and growth. My goals for you Conversational and collaborative, I seek to gather information through open communication about what you want and need in your healing journey.
