Getting to know Ashley Duckgeischel

Hello! My name is Ashley Duckgeischel, and I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist in Southern California. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology and a Bachelor’s from Azusa Pacific University. My mission is to support clients toward emotional, cognitive, and spiritual growth as they become more fully themselves. I aim to help clients develop a defined sense of self and live aligned with their core values. While I work with clients of all backgrounds and faiths, I am a practicing Christian with a biblical worldview. When requested, I help others apply their faith to everyday life for greater meaning, purpose, and peace. My approach I use various theoretical approaches including human-centered, Christian-based integrative counseling, cognitive behavioral, reality, existential, and experiential therapies. My focus I work with clients of all ages struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, identity, women’s issues, health concerns, work-related issues, and more. My communication style I prioritize clients feeling heard, respected, and comfortable discussing personal issues. I foster an environment where clients can ask questions and build trust, so we can collaboratively resolve challenges. My journey to mental healthcare I have felt a calling to help others since I was young. I find joy in helping clients gain personal freedom, build stronger relationships, and create fulfilling lives through our work together. My goals for you I believe every client should have a goal in sessions to ensure progress feels tangible and meaningful.

Ashley has been very understanding to what has been going on in my life and has given me nothing but great advice. I’ve only been working with Ashley for about three to four weeks and I have already began to learn ways to help my mental health.
