These include but are not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, recognizing that change comes from within. My focus I work with adolescents, teenagers and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Dealing with life transitions and phase of life can affect everyone including "more mature" adults. My goals is to assist with create goals to improve daily life and upcoming years. My communication style Communication is important in daily life and all relationships. One of the most important aspects of communication is listening. I strive to be an empathetic and compassionate listener so that I can assist you with processing thoughts and behaviors and create strategies for a healthier state of being. My journey to mental healthcare I became a therapist after several life struggles and a long career as an elementary teacher. I experienced the loss of a spouse and raising a special child. Through all my life experiences, I developed a desire to help others find peace and happiness in life. My greatest reward as a therapist is seeing my clients gain the skills to live today, plan for tomorrow, and love themselves.
