Ayesha Wallace, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Ayesha! My name is Ayesha Wallace, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Los Angeles, CA, working with clients via telehealth. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I work with young adults (18+) and adults, treating anxiety, stress, and depression using a method called T.E.A.M. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My approach My approach to therapy is individualized based on the client's needs. I utilize T.E.A.M. CBT, which stands for Testing, Empathy, Agenda-Setting, and Methods. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy allows us to work together to find various methods to help clients make progress and start feeling better more quickly. My focus I have found that my approach is a good fit for young adults and adults dealing with various life stressors. I work collaboratively with my clients to help overcome these challenges. My communication style My style is compassionate, calm, and personable. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking with me and to feel heard and understood in session. My journey to therapy I became a therapist because I wanted to help people have a place-and a person-they could talk to about anything, no matter what they are experiencing. My goals for you My approach to goal setting is collaborative, working with you to determine what you would like to accomplish and how you want to feel once therapy has ended. My first session with you Our first session will consist of me getting to know you and learning what has brought you to therapy. I will ask questions to understand you better and help you decide if I am a good fit to support you on your healing journey.
