Getting to know Bette Baber

Having been a licensed therapist for over 12 years, I have helped many different types clients navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, adjusting to a new career or family dynamic, trauma, grief and loss, and issues with their family. I applaud you for seeking guidance and I look forward to helping you. I am several different ethnicities and have worked with many different populations including couples; families (some who are being reunited); teenagers (sometimes in conjunction with schools to help students change their dynamics at school and garner the help of administrators and teachers, as I am a former teacher); children, elderly clients; clients who have been discriminated against; clients who have been bullied, Clients who are navigating career changes; and clients who have medical issues.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe there is a solution to every issue and I help clients find solutions that work for them; I typically use solution focused methods and CBT so I ask questions and teach clients techniques to deal with their issues when they are not in session.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
