Bradley Trathen, LPC

Psychotherapist
CO
Hi there, I'm Bradley! We humans often tend to put ourselves last, and so I just want to honor and acknowledge this first step you are taking. I provide a safe, non-judgmental, and calm approach when helping you work through such challenges as depression, anxiety, stress, anger, existential questions, and trauma; more specifically, religious trauma and upbringing. I help individuals not just manage symptoms, but get to the root of the issue. My approach If you feel you have lost yourself on this path called life, then allow me to invite you to reconnect. I am compassionate and, when needed, direct when working with clients. I use evidence-based approaches; Mindfulness, CBT, ACT, Parts work, somatically focused, and am EMDR trained when working with trauma. My focus I work well with individuals who are committed to their mental and physical well-being and want to experience growth on all levels. Therapy can be extremely helpful and strongly encourages my clients to take what they learn in the therapy hour and implement it throughout their week in order to see the best results. My communication style I create a warm, empathetic space where clients feel heard and reflected, gently guiding them to explore deeper insights. My style balances compassionate presence with thoughtful challenge, helping individuals uncover patterns and rediscover their strengths. I adapt my approach intuitively—offering clarity when needed, but always centered in my clients’ experience and growth. My journey to mental healthcare I became a therapist because I wanted to help people learn more about themselves and help them work through the day-to-day challenges of living this life. I've always been told that I have a calm demeanor and approach, and often had people seeking counsel with me even before I was a Licensed Professional Counselor.
