Hi, my name is Brenda.
I have worked in the social work field for the past 10 years, specializing in supporting individuals, children, and families across various settings, including community-based mental health agencies and community clinics. I have collaborated closely with those struggling with depression, anxiety, and interpersonal challenges.
I hold a Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach.
We are currently living in unprecedented times where old patterns of behavior no longer serve us, and it is essential to take greater accountability and control of our lives. Taking the first step toward positive change can be both painful and liberating. I am here to provide support and teach positive coping skills during these challenging times.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My therapeutic style is to build a therapeutic alliance in a curious and compassionate matter. I try my best to create a safe space where each person can feel comfortable to openly talk about how they feel.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
