Getting to know Brooke Barnidge

Hello! My name is Brooke, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in California. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach. I am a strengths-based, client-centered, and solutions-focused therapist. I strive to create an environment where you feel supported, safe, and free of judgment. I work with individuals of all ages who are experiencing anxiety, depression, peer relationship challenges, bullying, life transitions, relationship issues, self-esteem concerns, couples’ difficulties, burnout, insomnia, anger, panic attacks, and stress management. My approach integrates evidence-based practice and theory while honoring your individual needs and meeting you where you are. My goal is to provide you with the tools to enhance your quality of life and feel more confident navigating life’s challenges. My promise as a therapist is to be with you every step of the way. I look forward to meeting you!

What should a new client know about working with you?

To feel empowered and more confident facing life's stressors and challenges. My goal is for clients to learn and practice coping skills to improve their quality of life. Clients will have the opportunity to process and reflect on their experiences to gain clarity as to how those experiences are impacting their present thoughts, feelings, and actions. My objective is for clients to have a supportive space in working towards their therapeutic goals at their own pace.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
