Psychotherapist
5376 Tomah Dr, Ste 201, Colorado Springs, CO
Life can be incredibly challenging, and sometimes the ways we try to cope only leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of our next steps. As your therapist, my goal is to help you gain clarity, feel more grounded in who you are, and discover new, empowering strategies for moving forward. I offer a warm, culturally-sensitive space where you can feel heard, respected, and genuinely supported. I believe that therapy should be collaborative and rooted in curiosity—you are the expert of your own life, and together we’ll explore your identity, relationships, emotions, and strengths to help you grow and heal.

Getting to know Caitlin Theisen

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is centered around empowerment, authenticity, and respect. I bring empathy and curiosity to every session, creating a safe space where you can explore all parts of yourself without judgment. I take a strengths-based and holistic approach, drawing from modalities such as CBT, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based practices, tailored to your unique needs. Expect a collaborative experience where your voice matters—we’ll work as a team to identify your goals and celebrate your progress.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first few sessions, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and building a foundation of trust. I’ll ask questions to understand your history, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve in therapy. From there, we’ll co-create a roadmap for our work together. Sessions typically include space to process emotions, explore patterns, and learn new coping tools. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship stress, identity questions, or life transitions, therapy with me is a space where you can feel seen and empowered.
