What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with adults of all ages who are navigating life transitions, depression, anxiety, addiction, or adjustment challenges. Many of my clients are caregivers, older adults, or individuals who have spent much of their lives supporting others and are now seeking space to reflect on their own needs. You may be feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or unsure how to move forward, and that’s exactly where therapy can help. Whether you're adjusting to a new phase of life, coping with loss or changes in health, or working to break free from unhelpful patterns, I offer a calm, supportive space to explore what’s going on beneath the surface. We’ll work together to identify what matters most to you and build on your strengths to create lasting, meaningful change. My goal is to meet you where you are, with compassion and curiosity. I’m here to help you reconnect with yourself, find relief from distress, and move toward greater clarity, confidence, and peace of mind. My communication style is calm, supportive, and down-to-earth. I aim to create a space where you feel safe being yourself. There is no need to filter or explain everything perfectly. I listen closely and with curiosity, helping you feel heard and understood without judgment. My role is to walk alongside you, not to give quick fixes, but to help you reflect more deeply and move forward in a way that feels true to you. I’ll offer honest feedback, and I’ll always invite your input so we can stay aligned with what’s most helpful. Some sessions may feel more exploratory, while others are focused on identifying patterns or practicing tools together. Either way, we go at your pace. If something’s not working or if you’re unsure where to start, I’ll help guide the process with warmth and clarity. Clients often tell me they appreciate my steady presence and the sense of calm I bring into the room. Whether you're sorting through something painful, facing a tough decision, or just needing space to think out loud,

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I was drawn to the field of mental health through a deep interest in human behavior and a strong belief in people’s ability to grow and adapt. Early in my career, I had the opportunity to work with veterans, many of whom were navigating complex challenges related to identity, loss, transition, and invisible wounds. That experience showed me how powerful it can be to create a space where people feel seen, supported, and free to explore their stories without judgment. During my graduate training, I continued working with individuals facing a wide range of life challenges, including depression, anxiety, addiction, and caregiving stress. These experiences deepened my commitment to showing up with empathy, presence, and a belief in each person’s capacity to move forward at their own pace. What continues to motivate me is witnessing the quiet strength and growth my clients discover in themselves. I feel honored to be part of that process. I believe everyone deserves support and that meaningful change is always possible with the right care and connection.
