Getting to know Carina Castillo
Hello, Beautiful beings. Thank you for taking the first step in your healing journey. I am Carina Castillo, and hope to walk alongside you on this journey. My education and training began at Azusa Pacific University, and I have been working with various populations and ages ranging from 3-41 since 2018. I earned the privilege of being fully licensed in May 2022 and have worked in agencies contracted with the Department of Mental Health since 2018.
I have led groups of teens with depression and anxiety, worked with families in group therapy, and helped individuals maneuver trauma, life changes, loss, etc. In the therapy room, I treat you as the expert you are in your life and help give you the tools, and coping skills, help you reach insights and interventions to help you on the other side of the particular roadblock you are facing. In the room, all of your inner thoughts are allowed to be shared, and anything you need to communicate to me will be worked on at the pace you need.
I look forward to working with you and cannot wait to start this journey together.
