Getting to know Carlos Damian Quintero

I know that the decision to start therapy is a huge step, and actually going through with it can cause fear or anxiety. Therapy is not always easy-it takes time, money, and effort to open up to someone who, regardless of experience or training, is just a stranger at first. I want you to feel that you are an integral part of therapy and that it is a collaborative effort. I never want you to walk away feeling that you were not listened to or that you were being judged. I have worked in various settings, including social work, community mental health agencies, and hospital outpatient services. I use my past experiences working with clients from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds to better understand my clients' points of view and to be a better therapist for you. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Pepperdine University, which has further equipped me to support you on your journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My goal after meeting a client for the first time is for them to know that I care about them and their wellbeing and that they can trust me to help them as they will feel heard.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
