Caroline Grim, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
My name is Caroline Grim. I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) from Southern California with a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University. I have over 10 years of experience providing services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, trauma, and other challenges. My approach I use an integrative style that is collaborative and incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), including trauma-focused CBT interventions, solution-focused approaches, and strength-based models. I provide a safe, non-judgmental place for you to be you. My focus For the past 10 years, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families, offering individual, couples, and family therapy. I find each situation unique, especially in how depression, anxiety, grief, and other challenges affect the individual; therefore, treatment is tailored to each person's needs. Over the last three years, my primary platform has been telehealth, working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma. My communication style My communication style is non-judgmental, respectful, and professional. I encourage my clients to be open about their needs in sessions so they feel comfortable and heard. My journey to mental healthcare My journey to becoming a therapist stems from a deep desire to help people navigate life's challenges and the understanding that sometimes we all need a safe space to feel heard and address intense emotions that interfere with what matters most. This desire took root early in my life and has continued to guide me. My ongoing passion comes from the reward of seeing clients reach a place where they can manage their day-to-day lives. My goals for you My goal is to assist you in achieving the therapeutic goals you set during our initial intake. I hope we can work together and monitor your progress to meet those goals.
