I’m a compassionate, person-centered therapist dedicated to supporting you through life’s challenges. With over a decade of experience, I’ve helped clients navigate anxiety, self-esteem issues, anger management, stress, life transitions, communication difficulties, and the unique struggles that often come with young adulthood. My approach is grounded in creating a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore who you are, build on your strengths, and work toward healing and growth. I’d be honored to be a part of your journey—feel free to reach out whenever you feel ready to take that first step. What should a new client know about working with you?

Do you find yourself overthinking or getting stuck in your thoughts? Do you sometimes feel like your emotions are in the driver's seat? I work with clients to help quiet the unhelpful self-talk and regain control of their emotions. Many of the individuals I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, or difficulty managing relationships and life transitions. Whether you're looking to increase your ability to care for yourself, improve your communication and connection with others, or explore the deeper challenges that are getting in your way, I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, heard, and understood. I strive to have communication that is warm, supportive, compassionate, and understanding. I listen with care and intention, creating a non-judgmental environment where you can safely work through difficult issues. If you find yourself expressing something challenging, I will be right there with you to help you through it. Our first session is all about getting to know you—your story, what’s bringing you to therapy, and what you hope to get out of it. It's completely normal to feel a mix of emotions—nervous, unsure, curious, or even relieved. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and not rushed. We'll explore what’s been challenging, talk about your goals, and begin building a sense of trust and collaboration. From there, we’ll create a roadmap that’s tailored to your needs and move at a pace that feels comfortable and right for you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

As I look back, I realize that my desire to help others and become a therapist began at a young age. Someone very close to me was going through a difficult time, and I happened to be the person they felt safe talking to. Simply being there to listen—really listen—allowed them to begin moving through the pain they were experiencing. That experience stayed with me and became the foundation for my path forward. It’s why my practice is grounded in the belief that healing begins with connection, and why I have a deep belief in the power of being heard. As I pursued my education and graduate training in marriage and family therapy, that early insight was continually reinforced. My clinical training provided a strong foundation in evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while also emphasizing the importance of tailoring therapy to each individual’s unique story and strengths. These experiences shaped my eclectic, client-centered approach—one that combines practical tools with empathy and presence. Today, I strive to create a space where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered to grow. As you begin your therapy journey, I’m here to support you in clarifying what you want to accomplish and to help you stay focused on those goals. Whether you’re looking to build confidence, improve relationships, or work toward other personal growth, we’ll work together to take meaningful steps forward. Along the way, your goals may evolve, and that’s okay—we’ll adjust our approach as needed to keep you moving toward the positive changes you’re seeking.
