Hi there, I'm Chelsea! With five years of clinical experience, I’ve come to see therapy as a collaborative process of building safety, understanding, and real, lasting change. My focus While I do have experience with family therapy and couples therapy, my primary work is in individual therapy. I focus on supporting adults and children as they move beyond the grip of past trauma and toward greater control over their present lives. My goal is to help you modify the behaviors that no longer serve you. My approach I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (similar to EMDR). I integrate an attachment theory lens to understand how early relational patterns shape your responses to trauma and current behaviors. My communication style I communicate with you in a direct, straightforward manner—not to overwhelm you, but to respect your capacity for growth—while also remaining mindful of your emotional state and thought patterns, so you can build genuine self-awareness and begin transforming maladaptive behaviors at your own pace. My journey to mental healthcare I became a therapist because I genuinely enjoy helping people and believe in the power of growth. I’ve personally struggled with my own mental health and know what that weight feels like.
