Psychotherapist
CO
Welcome, as you take this step toward discovering healing, better days, and perhaps new beginnings! I recognize your courage in seeking help, which certainly can be hard. So, thank you. I work with all ages — children to adults, including individuals and families, specializing in anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, and neurodivergent issues. I provide Christian counseling when requested. My approach to therapy is to use methods that have been researched and shown to be effective and also fit your individual needs and goals. I encourage you to contact me when you are ready. I look forward to connecting with you. My approach Many times I have used cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), which addresses how our thoughts influence our emotions and behaviors, and how developing healthy perspectives will improve emotions and resulting behaviors. CBT works very well for anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, and family therapy. Also, trauma processing therapies such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) or Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) can assist in lessening and even extinguishing the negative effects and triggers of traumatic experiences. My overall therapy style is eclectic, meaning I use aspects of many types of proven therapies, so we can choose the intervention style that works for you. Your needs will determine the best approach for you. My focus Are you worn out from feeling like you're in survival mode from day to day? Does it feel like the stress in your life is nonstop or impossible to handle or get rid of? I work with children, teenagers, and adults, helping them to manage and lessen anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and parenting challenges. Whether you are working through stressors in your current environment or dealing with past trauma, I will come alongside you and support you in establishing goals, assisting you in discovering growth and resilience.
