My name is Constance Goins, and I am a seasoned Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor (CDAC II) and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I earned my Master's in Social Work from California State University, Sacramento. I utilize evidence-based approaches in my practice and provide a judgment-free, inclusive, and trauma-informed therapeutic space for clients.

I approach therapy using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Motivational Interviewing.

As an ACT and CBT therapist, I care about providing concrete strategies that work for my clients, including behavioral activation plans, self-care, and new approaches to building meaningful relationships.
