Are you stuck in negative thoughts, intense emotions, or behavioral patterns that don't serve your best interest? Are you hoping to build more meaning and joy in your life? You may feel hesitant about reaching out for help, especially with pressure from all directions to ?have it all together.? I'm here to join you on this journey to discover healing and build a balanced life. I provide collaborative, authentic, compassionate, client-centered, and non-judgmental counseling. My goal is to help you find compassion for yourself, develop skills to navigate life stressors, identify how you can become the best version of yourself, and be confident in the resilient person you are. I specialize in depression, crisis intervention, anxiety, trauma, military families' welfare, and life stressors using an eclectic approach that includes: Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), which centers on a person's unique experience in the present moment while helping individuals and couples improve communication, coping, conflict resolution, and stress management. EFT helps clients become more attuned to their emotions, better equipped to use the information provided by these feelings, and more capable of coping with complicated emotions daily. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), an evidence-based treatment for teens and adults who struggle to regulate extreme emotions. DBT addresses mental health concerns such as major depression and self-harm or suicidal behaviors/thoughts by teaching clients four core skills: mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotional regulation. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, helping people change how they think, feel, and behave through various techniques. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California, equipping me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively on your path to healing and growth.
