Getting to know Coral Huntsman
I am a Clinical Training Specialist and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I received my M.A. in Clinical Psychology with an MFT emphasis from Pepperdine University and am currently a Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I have over 20 years of Human Services experience, including working for over seven years as a Wraparound Facilitator and Wraparound Clinician delivering community-based services to youth and families in Los Angeles County. Before transitioning into the mental health field, I spent ten years working with mainstream and special needs students in various educational settings. For the past 13 years as a Training Specialist with the SBHG Stars Training Academy, I have specialized in creating and delivering interactive clinical training on various evidence-based and evidence-supported practices. I have extensive experience working directly with the Transition to Independence Process (TIP) Model developer Dr. Hewitt �Rusty� Clark, designing and implementing TIP Model training and consultation projects for Systems of Care throughout the US and Canada.
