Getting to know Corinne Grandinetti
Are you wanting to reach out for help, but keep telling yourself you ?should' be able to solve everything on your own? Are you pressuring yourself to muscle your way out of depression or anxiety? Then why would we each be sharing Earth with more than 7 BILLION other people if we are supposed to handle everything all by ourselves? I believe it is because we ARE meant to help each other!
Since graduating in 1986 from National University with a master's degree in Counseling Psychology and then earning my license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 1990, I count myself lucky to have worked with the many adults, children, teenagers, families, and couples whose paths have crossed mine.
I am delighted when ?my people' learn to recognize their strengths or discover new ways of managing anxiety and depression to help alleviate emotional pain, when they find purpose as they recover from losses or changes in their lives, or when they reconnect more deeply with their loved ones through more constructive communication. It is particularly heartwarming when someone I originally worked with as a teenager or young adult returns to me as they navigate a later life stage.
I have an eclectic approach to therapy with heavy use of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). I have learned much from the many hundreds of clients I have listened to over the years. I am better for having known each one of them.

I have been working with Corinne Grandinetti since 2008. She is an exceptional therapist; the best I have worked with in 40 years as an individual struggling with bipolar. She has led me to psychiatric assistance when appropriate.

Corinne has helped me through rough times: extreme depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation. She personally led me back home after a week on the road running. She kept in constant contact, guiding me to safety. That is my example of her commitment and care for her patients.
