Hello and welcome!
My name is Cristina. I specialize in treating trauma and have used evidence-based modalities, such as EMDR, to address trauma-related symptoms. I approach mental health as holistically as possible, exploring components of the mind, body, and spirit to support healing. I like to work collaboratively with you to create goals and explore which areas of healing are necessary for your journey. I take a client-based approach and aim to make the space feel safe and comfortable, where you can open up and share freely.
I hold a Master's degree in Couples and Family Therapy from Alliant International University, which enriches my understanding of relational dynamics and supports my holistic approach.

What should a new client know about working with you?
The first sessions will be very much based in establishing a connection and making sure that are a right fit. That's right, you get to shop around! Sessions consist of exploring presenting issues and goals for how to address issues discussed. Once goals are established sessions with revolve around meeting set goals and exploring key themes that arise throughout the therapy process.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
