Hi there, I'm Daisy! Hello! I am a bilingual (Spanish/English) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My role as your therapist is to provide you with support, empathy, and unconditional positive regard. I have worked as a therapist in school and clinical settings, which has allowed me to address various issues, including anxiety, life transitions, depression, grief, and more. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I hope to be part of your journey toward growth, healing, and well-being. My approach I use a variety of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, and Client-Centered therapy. I aim to support you on your journey toward a more fulfilling life and help you realize your full potential. My goal in session is to allow you to feel heard, validated, and understood in therapy. My focus I enjoy working with a variety of clients, but I especially like working with individuals who are highly motivated to work, improve, and challenge themselves during their journey in therapy. My communication style I try to keep therapy engaging, often matching my client's communication style. I aim to be an active listener and clarify to make sure I am hearing and understanding you thoroughly. My journey to therapy I earned my bachelor?s degree in Cognitive Psychology from the University of California, Irvine, where I developed a strong interest in human behavior and the mind. This passion led me to pursue my graduate education at National University, where I earned my Master?s in Counseling to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Throughout my professional career, I have worked in diverse fields, allowing me to support children, teens, adults, and families. My goals for you My goal is to help clients improve their quality of life and learn strategies to navigate daily challenges. To me, progress means improving emotional regulation, managing past stressors, and enhancing daily mood.
