4630 50th St, Ste 406, Lubbock, TX
Hello, my name is Daniel Leal. I am an LPC with a Master’s in Counseling from West Texas A&M University and have been in the mental health field for about six years. My specialty and passion lie in working with adult and adolescent clients who are struggling with depression. However, I also enjoy working with all individuals to help them create opportunities to change their lives. I have gained extensive experience working with a range of mental health challenges, including highly acute clients with significant diagnoses such as Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia. I am comfortable working in many settings and would describe myself as inclusive and strength-based. The main theories I utilize are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I consider myself an active listener and like to come alongside all clients as they decide to make positive changes in their lives. I am supportive and find joy in helping people identify their goals and make them a reality.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
